What Does a Grizzly Bear Eat?

Grizzly bears are opportunistic hunters and they eat a wide variety of things. They consume anything that comes in front of them and looks like food to them. Grizzly bears eat mostly the following types of food:

• Plants & leaves
• Vegetation like grasses, berries, roots, etc.
• Insects
• Fish
• Other live and dead animals
• Other bears
• Honey
• Anything else that looks like food
